Do I need any music technology background to teach from these resources?

No. Every resource is written for a music specialist who hasn’t necessarily used the software before — interface tours and step-by-step workflows are built into the core content, not assumed as prior knowledge.

What’s actually in each resource?

A complete unit, not a single lesson: a teaching deck students return to across several weeks, five lesson plans in full starter / main / plenary format with the questions written in, a student workbook with fillable templates and self-assessment tools, a two-to-three page teacher’s guide plus a separate additional information file for software detail and think-aloud scripts, and a questioning bank of recall starters, checkpoints and misconception re-checks. Print-ready PDFs come alongside the editable files. Every resource is aligned to the real mark scheme for its component.

Can I edit them?

Yes — every resource is delivered as an editable source file (PowerPoint/Word), not a locked PDF, so you can adapt wording, examples or pacing for your own class. Your adaptations stay under the same licence.

How do I know a resource matches my syllabus?

Every resource states its exact board, component and specification code up front, and is tagged Evergreen (safe to reuse every year) or Annually-verify (built from content — like a set work or prescribed repertoire — that the board rotates on a cycle, flagged so you know to double-check before reuse).

What does one licence cover?

One teacher, and all of the classes that teacher teaches, with no expiry. Department licences (five named teachers) and whole-school licences are available direct from us. The full terms are on the Licence page.

Where do I buy?

The first resources are going live on Tes now, with Teachers Pay Teachers to follow. Buying directly from this site is coming — and direct is the only place the department and whole-school licences are available, since the marketplaces don’t support them. I teach a board or level that isn’t listed yet — will you cover it?

The roadmap starts with Cambridge iGCSE, then IB Diploma Music and KS3, with AQA GCSE and A Level after those. Leave your email on the Resources page and tell us which board you teach — that is the single most useful thing you can tell us, because it moves your board up the queue.
