Your First Track

Year 7’s first go at making a whole track. Students learn what each part of a track is for (beat, bass, chords, melody), choose loops by the job they do rather than by how they sound on their own, and arrange them into something with a beginning, middle and end.

What the pack will include

• A teaching deck for all six lessons, with the answers, think-aloud and fallback in the speaker notes
• One-page lesson plans with All / Most / Some objectives
• A student workbook to print and work in
• A two-page teacher’s guide, plus a separate additional information file with the curriculum links
• A no-tech fallback in every lesson, for the days the Macs aren’t free
